Inter Milan finished in fifth-place in Serie A last season. The team's leading scorer was Rodrigo Palacio, who scored 17 goals last season. Last year's finish qualified the club for the Europa Cup, but the goal this season will be to secure a top three-finish to earn a place in the UEFA Champions League. 

This offseason, Inter Milan signed Manchester United center-back Nemanja Vidic. The club is currently playing in the 2014 Guinness International Champions Cup as they prepare for the upcoming season.
