Mexico men's national team

After struggling during CONCACAF qualifying, eventually finishing fourth, the Mexico men's national team had an impressive run at the 2014 FIFA World Cup before falling to the Netherlands in the Round of 16.

The good news for Mexico is that a number of the team's top players will still be in their early 30's or late 20's for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, including Guillermo Ochoa, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, Giovani dos Santos, Hector Herrera and Miguel Layun.

With Mexico still in its "Golden Age," the team has high hopes of building towards greater international success.

This fall, the development process will continue as El Tri returns to the pitch for a handful of international friendlies. One of those friendly matches is a highly anticipated rematch against the Dutch.
