Barcelona forward Luis Suarez again said his biting days are over.

Last week, the Court of Arbitration for Sport upheld Suarez’s four-month ban from playing official matches after biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini on the shoulder during Uruguay's 1-0 win at the World Cup on June 24. CAS said he is allowed to play in friendlies.

Suarez also pledged last month to stop biting opponents.

Barcelona unveiled Suarez on Tuesday after his transfer from Liverpool. Suarez played the last 13 minutes in the team's final preseason game against Leon on Monday before the season starts Aug. 24.

"I say to all the fans, don't worry, because I won't do that anymore,” Suarez said.

He apologized for his actions and can play again in competitive matches starting Oct. 25.
