Rio Ferdinand: 'My dream after football is to manage England'
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand says he wants to manage England one day, he told the Daily Mail.
Ferdinand, 35, currently plays for QPR, but has his sights set on coaching once he retires. During his national team career, he made 81 appearances and was initially named captain for the 2010 World Cup before an injury held him out of the tournament.

Despite his lengthy playing career for the country, Ferdinand acknowledged he will have to pay his dues to receive consideration.
"Everyone has dreams of playing for England and my dream after football is to manage England," he told the Daily Mail.
"I don't expect the chance now, but once I get the badges I am there. If I don't get a job in management I will wonder why.
Ferdinand mentioned the success other countries have had with young coaches, particularly World Cup champion Germany.
"(Joachim) Low, (Jurgen) Klinsmann were young geezers when they started out with Germany," he said.
England is currently managed by Roy Hodgson. The team was eliminated from the 2014 World Cup during group play.
Ferdinand moved to Loftus Road this summer after 12 seasons at Manchester United.
