Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho will miss two weeks with a hamstring injury, putting his availability against Tottenham later this month in jeopardy, reports the Telegraph.

Fernandinho was injured in Man City’s 2-0 victory on Saturday and underwent scans after the match.

He also withdrew from the Brazilian squad for their upcoming friendly matches against Argentina and Japan. He will stay at the club training facility to receive treatment for the Tottenham match on Oct. 18.

The club is scheduled to fly to Russia for its contest against CSKA Moscow on Monday. Manchester City is second in the Premier League with 14 points this season, five behind Chelsea.
