Two teams unbeaten so far in the UEFA Champions League Group Stage meet at Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Tuesday when AS Roma hosts Bayern Munich. Bayern is unbeaten in group play and is coming off a 1-0 away win over CSKA Moscow on Sept. 30, while Roma played to a 1-1 draw at Manchester City on the same date.

Bayern has goals from Jerome Boateng and Thomas Muller in their two 1-0 wins thus far. For Roma, Gervinho is leading the side with two goals.

Bayern has five players already declared out for the match: defender Holger Badstuber (thigh), midfielder Javi Martinez (knee), goalkeeper Pepe Reina (calf), midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger (knee) and midfielder Thiago Alcantara (knee). Midfielder Franck Ribery is doubtful with a knee injury. Roma will be without four players: forward Marco Borriello (thigh), midfielder Seydou Keita (calf), defender Leandro Castan (thigh) and midfielder Kevin Strootman (knee). Doubtful for the match are defender Davide Astori (thigh), midfielder Daniele De Rossi (calf) and forward Juan Manuel Iturbe (thigh).

Bayern Munich won the Champions League in 2012-13 and appeared in the semifinal in 2013-14 before bowing out to eventual-champion Real Madrid. 

Both teams are members of Group E.
