HUELVA, Spain (AP) — Spain says Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has dislocated the little finger on his right hand.

The national team website says De Gea injured his hand during training on Friday.

De Gea has been one of United's top performers in an otherwise difficult season under new manager Louis van Gaal.

Spain says "given that he has suffered a similar incident before, De Gea will continue with the team and remains under observation."

Spain hosts Belarus on Saturday in a European Championship qualifier. The two-time defending European champion then hosts world champion Germany in a friendly on Tuesday.

Spain's other goalkeepers are regular starter Iker Casillas and newcomer Kiko Casilla.
