Paris Saint-Germain vs. Chelsea

Paris Saint-Germain earned its place in the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League by finishing second in Group F, while Chelsea dominated Group G to advance to the round of 16.

Last season, Chelsea defeated PSG in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. The last two times the times have met in Paris, supporters of the clubs have engaged in violence against one another.

In domestic play, Chelsea is currently on top of the English Premier League with 59 points, seven points ahead of second-place Manchester City. PSG is in third in Ligue 1 with 49 points, two behind leaders Lyon.
