FC Utrecht fans broke out in anti-Semitic chants Sunday during a home match against rival Ajax, according to the Jerusalem Post.

Utrecht fans targeted their jeers at Ajax fans, who are sometimes referred to as "Jews" by Utrecht supporters due to Amsterdam's historical Jewish population.

Dozens of fans at Galgenwaard stadium joined together in song, claiming Nazi heritage in the process: “My father was in the commandos, my mother was in the SS, together they burned Jews, because cause Jews burn the best.” Another went, "Hamas, Hamas, Jews to the gas."

The chants went on for several minutes, according to the Jerusalem Post.

In a statement, FC Utrecht said it would investigate the suspects and punish them accordingly. The Foundation Fighting Antisemitism has reportedly filed charges against the club.
