LEICESTER, England (AP) — Leicester boosted its chances of avoiding relegation by beating Swansea 2-0 on Saturday in the Premier League, lifting the team off the bottom of the standings.

Leonardo Ulloa gave the host the lead in the 15th minute with his first goal since January and Andy King made sure of the win in stoppage time, giving the Foxes a vital three points in the fight against the drop.

Leicester climbed from last to 18th place and is now two points ahead of both Queens Park Rangers and Burnley with a game in hand. It is tied on points with 17th-place Hull and one point behind Sunderland.

Swansea is eighth.
