The NASL’s San Antonio Scorpions have suspended midfielder Josue Soto for allegedly leaking team strategy to opponents, the San Antonio Express-News reports.
A release from the league announced that the league has begun investigating Soto’s “potential misconduct.”
The Express-News reports Soto has shared information, including starting lineups, with former teammates. It remains unclear, according to the paper’s sources, if he had intent to sabotage his team’s chances at winning games.
