Swedish goalkeeper August Stromberg allowed one of the more stunning own goals you’ll ever see on Monday.
Stromberg and second-division Ljundskile were playing top-tier Djurgarden in the Swedish Cup. The match was scoreless in the 58th minute when Djurgarden’s Elliot Kack played a cross right into Stromberg’s arms. The goalie failed to handle the ball, though, and it bounced right into the net.
The goal gave Djurgarden a 1–0 lead. Ljungskile scored an equalizer in the 76th minute but Djurgarden scored again in the 86th minute and held on for a 2–1 win.
