Robbie Keane makes Ireland's final Euro 2016 roster
Ireland captain Robbie Keane has been included in the European Championship squad despite being ruled out of the final warm-up game through injury.
A calf muscle injury prevented the 35-year-old Los Angeles Galaxy forward from playing in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Belarus. But after the friendly, Keane made Martin O'Neill's 23-man squad for Euro 2016 where Ireland opens against Sweden in Paris on June 13 in Group E.
Midfielder James McCarthy also made the cut despite missing Ireland's last two friendlies with a thigh problem.
