One German club has offered Zlatan Ibrahimovic the chance to run a monarchy.
The sought-after 34-year-old striker, currently without a contract, could become the king of the city of Oberhausen, should he sign with local club Rot-Weiss Oberhausen, who have offered a two-year deal.
That deal comes with the chance to head a newly-instated local monarchy, and also have a beer named after him. They have also offered to reopen a local swimming pool for Ibrahimovic’s personal use.
In a statement, the club referred to him as "God," and it gets more and more ridiculous.
"In a football province like Oberhausen, there are a few things which other places wouldn't have," club president Hajo Sommers told German broadcaster Sport1, according to BBC.
"If he wants to expand his horizons, let him come."
Seems reasonable.
