Venezuela’s back-to-back 1–0 wins over Jamaica and Uruguay to open the tournament made history: It was the first time in history that Venezuela won consecutive games in the Copa America.
The winner of this game will avoid a meeting with Lionel Messi and Argentina in the quarterfinals.
