Albania ousts Romania with first Euro win, can still go through

Albania made history Sunday and hopes that the opportunity to make even more will arise after a 1-0 win over Romania in their Euro 2016 Group A finale, which was Albania's first win at a major international competition.
Albania finished in third place in Group A with three points and has a chance to go through to the knockout stage as one of the four best third-place finishers in the 24-team field.
Armando Sadiku scored the historic goal for Albania, heading in from Ledian Memushaj's cross in the 43rd minute. Like the victory, the goal was Albania's first in a major competition. Romania is ousted with the loss, netting just a single point in the competition, that being a draw with Switzerland. It fell to France in the opening match of the tournament on Dimitri Payet's late winner.
