Spain coach Vicente del Bosque will resign, according to multiplereports.

Del Bosque, who has been with Spain since 2008, will reportedly announce his departure on July 15.

Del Bosque’s decision to resign comes after Spain lost to Italy in the Round of 16 at Euro 2016. The coach’s contract was set to expire soon after the conclusion of the tournament.

Del Bosque coached Spain to wins at the 2010 World Cup and two European championships, in 2008 and 2012, the most dominant run by an international side this century. However, Spain was knocked out in the group stage of the 2014 World Cup.

In addition to Spain, del Bosque has also managed Real Madrid and Besiktas.
