WATCH: Fan jumps into tunnel to meet Lionel Messi, gets tackled by security
Some people will stop at nothing to meet their favorite athletes.
One fan really took that to the extreme when he jumped into the tunnel at Aviva Stadium in Dublin during Barcelona’s friendly against Celtic over the weekend in an attempt to meet Lionel Messi.
The video of the incident shows the fan briefly touch the soccer star before getting brutally tackled by security.

If the jump didn't hurt, that tackle sure did.
The fan risked a few broken bones just for a chance to see one of the greatest up close. He may not have gotten a photo with the world’s best soccer player, but at least he has this video to remember the moment he almost met Messi.
