Eliaquim Mangala loaned to Valencia from Manchester City

Eliaquim Mangala is headed to Valencia for the remainder of the season.

Manchester City center back Eliaquim Mangala has completed a transfer to Valencia for the remainder of the season.

Mangala, 25, was part of France's team at this summer's European Championships. He started 24 games for Manchester City last year but has fallen out of manager Pep Guardiola's plans.

Two years ago, Mangala joined Manchester City off a $42 million deal from Porto. 

Mangala underwent a physical on Tuesday morning to complete the deal.
