Serge Gnabry completes full transfer from Arsenal to Werder Bremen

Werder Bremen is paying $6.5 million for a full transfer of Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry.

Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry is headed to Werder Bremen on a full transfer worth about $6.5 million.

The 21-year-old is coming off an impressive showing at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where he scored six goals as Germany settled for the silver medal. Brazil won gold.

Gnabry will play in Germany's U-21 match in Finland next week before joining his new team on Sept. 7.

Gnabry was also reportedly in talks with Bayern Munich, who defeated Werder Bremen 6–0 on the opening weekend of the Bundesliga.
