Wilfried Bony loaned from Manchester City to Stoke City

Wilfried Bony departs Manchester City for Stoke City on a loan.

LONDON – Manchester City's clear-out after an offseason of heavy spending has seen striker Wilfried Bony join Joe Hart in going out on loan from the English club.

Bony has joined Premier League rival Stoke for the remainder of the season, soon after Hart completed his loan move to Torino.

Bony hasn't played for City this season under new coach Pep Guardiola. The Ivory Coast international joined in January 2015 for a reported fee of 28 million pounds ($36 million) from Swansea, but never established himself as a regular.
