AC Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has been trying to persuade his new club to sign Borussia Dortmund youngster Emre Mor before the transfer window closes.

The 20-year-old played a bit-part role for the Bundesliga side last term, but showed glimpses of his talent.

He only joined the club last summer from Danish club Nordsjælland, but could already be set for a change of environment with AC Milan a potential destination.

Mor's compatriot Calhanoglu has apparently been trying to convince the club to sign him before the deadline next week, and an individual acting on Mor's behalf is trying to finalise a deal with Rossoneri officials as reported by Sporx.

Mor is currently splitting with his agent, who also represents Calhanoglu, and is therefore calling on the services of an advisor to help get his move to San Siro over the line.

Milan have gone quiet on the new signings front over the past few weeks but it has been a truly incredible window for the sleeping giants of European football.

In Sino-Europe Sports' first transfer window as AC Milan owners, they have signed no less than 10 players and clearly the fresh personnel has had an effect because Milan have already won four games, keeping four clean sheets and scoring 12 goals.
