The September shortlists for the Premier League Player of the Month and Manager of the Month awards have been released.
Tottenham striker and England hero Harry Kane is among the seven-strong Player of the Month nominees following his six Premier League goals during September.
Manchester City favourite Sergio Aguero is also nominated after scoring times, while Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku scored four in the period in the question. Another summer signing, Alvaro Morata also netted four times for Chelsea.
Away from the top end of the pitch, recognition has also gone to Kevin de Bruyne at City following his fine recent performances.
As newly promoted Brighton's star man in September, Pascal Gross is nominated for the prestigious award, as is Newcastle defender Jamaal Lascelles.
The Manager of the Month shortlist features four names, all of whom guided their respective team to an unbeaten September.
It is very much dominated by the coaching heavyweights of the division, with Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger and Mauricio Pochettino up for the prize.
Guardiola is the only one to have seen his team win every Premier League game they played in Sepetember (P4, W4), whith Mourinho, Wenger and Pochettino all drawing one.
