How to watch Costa Rica vs. Honduras on October 6.

Honduras travel to San José on Saturday to face Costa Rica in a FIFA World Cup qualifying match.

Honduras currently sits in fifth place on the CONCACAF World Cup table with nine points. After a 1-1 draw with the United States last month, Honduras almost certainly needs a victory—or at worst a draw—against Costa Rica to keep their hopes of qualification alive. Although the nation is currently tied with fourth-place United States on the table, Jorge Luis Pinto's side is far behind on goal differential, disqualifying them from a playoff.

The first three teams from the group will clinch a berth in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Finals in Russia, while the fourth place team will participate in a playoff to decide their fate.

Costa Rica, meanwhile, sits comfortably in second place on the table after winning four matches and losing just one through eight games thus far. Last month, Costa Rica defeated the United States 2-0 and drew with table leaders Mexico 1-1. A win against Honduras would clinch a place in Russia for the Costa Ricans.

With just two more matches to play in the group stages, expect to see an intense atmosphere.
