Italian giants AC Milan have firmly played down talks that they are in the process of finding a replacement for Vicenzo Montella, and are not looking into possibility of luring Antonio Conte away from Chelsea.

There have been countless reports linking Conte with a move back to Italy, despite only being a year into his successful tenure at Chelsea.

However AC Milan's Director of Football, Massimiliano Mirabelli, has dismissed any claims of his club being interested during an interview with Radio Rossonera (via Metro).

Mirabelli told Radio Rossonera: "We already have a manager and we are not thinking of Conte nor about other managers."

During the summer, Conte penned a new deal with the Blues that increased his wages but didn't change the length of the contract, causing many to believe that Conte may not remain at Chelsea in the long run.

Chelsea fans are hoping Conte does in fact stay after the successes he has already had at the club. With a Premier League Winner's medal and an FA Cup final after only a year at the blues, fans are starting to see Conte as a manager that they can put their faith in for a long time.

However, with his current deal running out in 2019 and no extension being added when he renewed his contract in the Summer, it's understandable that Chelsea fans may be a little concerned that their manager is only in it for the short-term.

Chelsea travel to struggling Crystal Palace this weekend, with a win putting serious pressure on Manchester United and Manchester City, who are playing Liverpool and Stoke respectively.
