A video of Cristiano Ronaldo singing along to the Champions League theme song has gone viral. The Madrid superstar was spotted mouthing the words ahead of his side's encounter with Tottenham on Tuesday night as if it was a national anthem.
Admit it, everyone's done it. Be it in the beautiful acoustic space of your shower, as it crops up on an advert, or even if the song pops into your head as you continually drool over the upcoming European matches - everyone has sung along to the Champions League theme tune.
Apparently, even footballers do too; and who better to showcase that there is no shame in doing so than global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo?
Ahead of Tuesday night's Bernabeu blockbuster, as the camera pans across the Real Madrid team; the Portuguese attacker is spotted on the end of the line mouthing along to the Champions League anthem being played on the PA system.
It's understandable, Ronaldo must love Europe's most prestigious club competition. Having lifted the trophy four times (once with Manchester United and three times with Madrid); the 32-year-old is also the world's all-time highest goalscorer in the competition, scoring 109 goals in 142 appearances.
Pretty impressive. He even managed to get onto the score-sheet against Spurs on Tuesday - courtesy of a clumsy tackle from Tottenham's Serge Aurier.
The Ivorian brought down Toni Kroos inside his own box, handing Ronaldo the opportunity to level the score from the spot.
Despite an incredibly impressive display from Tottenham's Hugo Lloris, he was never saving Cristiano's penalty.
Ronaldo blasted his effort from 12 yards into the right side of the goal, clawing back a point for Los Blancos - who arguably deserved more from the game.
