Brazilian superstar Neymar spoke warmly about his former club Barcelona at FIFA's The Best Awards Monday night in London.

Neymar was reunited with his former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta as the trio were selected as part of the FIFA FIFpro World XI. Also part of the lineup was Dani Alves, Neymar's current Paris Saint-Germain teammate and fellow former Barcelona man.

In an interview at the ceremony, the 25-year-old spoke fondly of his former club and the importance of his time in Catalonia in his career.

"I will always have Barcelona in my heart," said Neymar, as reported by Marca. "I had a great season at the club and I cannot forget it, but now we have to think about something else."

This is Neymar's second inclusion in the FIFPro World XI, he was also voted into the team in 2015. The Brazilian added what it means to him to be voted amongst the best: "It's important to be here, alongside the best."

Now playing in Paris, Neymar will hope to continue to same success he found in Barcelona to ensure he is still considered one of the world's best in years to come. However, he did also open up about his recent red card for Paris Saint-Germain in their 2-2 draw with Marseille.

"Things like that should not happen, it was not a football game and I hope I do not fall into error again," he added.

Neymar has started his PSG career strongly, and already has 10 goals from his first 11 appearances. PSG also remain unbeaten in Ligue 1 this season.
