MK Dons are currently preparing for a whole host of January approaches as some of the Premier League's finest look to secure the services of promising teenager Dylan Asonganyi, according to the Mirror.

The 16-year-old striker has already scored 20 goals in 17 appearances for MK Dons U18s and U23s this campaign and is looking like the side's finest young prospect.

The Englishman's midweek brace in the FA Youth Cup against Barnet secured the win for the Buckinghamshire based team, as a number of Premier League scouts eagerly watched on on Tuesday night.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Leicester all had their respective recruiters in the crowd, intently watching Asonganyi in action for the Dons.

The League One outfit, have been incredibly impressed with the youngsters performances this season and are considering fast-tracking the forward into the first team squad.

As it stands though, it seems inevitable that Asonganyi will follow in the footsteps of Spurs superstar Dele Alli and fellow Dons graduate Brendan Galloway, in securing a move to one of England's biggest clubs.

Should the forward follow in the footsteps of Alli and move to north London with Mauricio Pochettino, he would likely be more than just a number for the reserves and would be provided a platform, to prove he can play at the highest level.

The allure of both Manchester clubs and Chelsea, could be too much to resist for the starlet, with their illustrious histories and enormous pay-packets, potentially swaying his final decision. Either way, the player looks destined for a higher level.

MK Dons are seemingly starting a trend, having produced the 21-year-old sensation, Alli, before selling him to Spurs for £5m back in 2015. Could this move be as significant?
