You don't normally see Barcelona striker Luis Suarez on the receiving end of some unsportsmanlike antics. In the past, Suarez has treated us to dives, player bust-ups, or a cheeky nibble of a player or two. But this time it was the Uruguayan forward who was victim of a player conning the referee.

Early in the second half of Barcelona's La Liga tie with Leganes, Suarez is seen to have a short exchange with Leganes goalkeeper Ivan Cuellar. After a Barca attack, Cueller claims the ball and pushes Suarez away. Suarez beats away Cueller's arm, only for the goalkeeper to fall down clutching his face.

The referee was clearly fooled by Cuellar's dive, and proceeded to give Suarez a yellow card. But it only took the Barca forward eight minutes to exact his revenge.

A fierce volley from Suarez soon put Barcelona 2-0 up. His second of the night, Suarez proceeded to celebrate directly in front of Cuellar, pumping his fist as he ran past the Leganes shot stopper.

Barcelona went on to win the match 3-0. Paulinho added a third to Suarez's brace late in the second half. The Catalan club have also confirmed that they will be appealing the yellow card Suarez received for the incident.

Barca's unbeaten league run continues and they now find themselves four points clear at the top of La Liga. They are also ten points ahead of rivals Real Madrid. After his brace at Leganes, Suarez now has five league goals for the season.
