Javier Pastore's Agent Marcelo Simoanian has encouraged Italian giants Internazionale to ready a bid for his client in the upcoming January window.
After the outrageous summer acquisitions of Neymar and Mbappe at the Parc des Princes, competition is fierce in all attacking areas and the Argentine, who usually operating in the number 10 position, has slipped down the pecking order for Unai Emery.
The 28-year-old has now been linked with a move to either Serie A or the Premier League, with Liverpool and Chelsea both monitoring the player's situation.
It appears as though Inter may have already won the race for his signature though according to his agent.
Simonian told FCInterNews (via Sports Mole) that he admired Luciano Spalletti while claiming that, "bringing in Pastore would be an historic opportunity for the Nerazzurri to get back to their winning ways of the recent past."
"We'll see if their Chinese owners can sniff out a deal and make the most of having those two phenomenal Inter directors on their books," he added.
A further boost for Luciano Spalletti comes from Pastore himself, as when questioned about a potential loan switch to Sevilla, the Argentinian international revealed: "it's more likely i'll go to Italy."
This term Pastore has featured in seven of PSG's Ligue 1 games this campaign, earning his fourth start in Saturday's 4-1 win over Nantes - setting up Edinson Cavani for their first and scoring the third.
The playmaker was a success in his first four years in Paris but injuries, inconsistency and competition for places have hampered his progress since his move from Palermo in 2011.
