Bayern Munich supporters threw fake €100 notes on the pitch during last night's game at Anderlecht in protest of the ticket prices for the game.

The Sun reported how away fans brought banners reading "Is your greed now finally satisfied... 100€?" and threw fake euro notes onto the pitch after they had to pay £89 for the trip to Belgium, a game which Bayern won 2-1.

The German club usually charge around £44 for away day tickets, and were furious at having to pay such a significant amount for the game. The fake cash was launched onto the pitch and caused play to be held up for several minutes.

It's not the first time Bayern fans have protested ticket prices in a Champions League game after the clubs fans held up banners and launching toilet rolls onto the pitch during last season's last 16 fixture away to Arsenal. Tickets for that game cost Bayern fans £75.
