Arsenal Youngster Reiss Nelson Hilariously Trolls Tottenham After Their Crushing Defeat to Man City

Any hopes of a resurgence in form for Tottenham were convincingly scuppered by another magical performance by Manchester City after a late flourish by saw Pochettino's side fall to a humiliating 4-1 defeat on Saturday afternoon.

With only two wins in their last seven Premier League games, Pep Guardiola's side piled on the pressure for Mauricio Pochettino as Spurs slipped further down the table into 7th place.

Although it was a torrid afternoon for the Tottenham faithful, fierce rivals Arsenal rejoiced as they moved up to 4th after dispatching Newcastle United at the Emirates after Mesut Ozil's goal of the month contender.

Very few were happier than Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson, who decided to rub salt into the wounds of Tottenham following their defeat.

Nelson retweeted a classic post from 2012, courtesy of Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen. Although the tweet has since been removed, there were a few savvy Arsenal fans who had the presence of mind to screen-grab this subtle piece of comedy gold.

An act such as this will always win the hearts of fans up and down the country, and Arsenal fans couldn't contain their admiration for one of their brightest up and coming youngsters following the tweet.

Tottenham now face a steep uphill challenge to reach the heights of the Premier League table, as they continue to slip further down the table.
