Number: 27 <br><br>The Giants outscored the Seahawks 27-0 in the fourth quarter Sunday but lost 42-30, becoming the first team in NFL history to outscore its opponent by 27 or more points in the fourth quarter and lose. The Giants have scored 24 points in the first three quarters of their three games this season and 51 in the fourth quarters.
Number: 98 <br><br>Mike Patterson's 98-yard return for a touchdown of a Frank Gore fumble at San Francisco was the longest fumble-recovery return for a TD by a defensive tackle in NFL history.
Number: 300 <br><br>In his 243rd and 244th career starts, Brett Favre, for the first time in his NFL career, passed for 300 or more yards with three or more touchdowns in consecutive games, passing for 340 yards in both games. The last QB with consecutive games of 340 or more yards, three or more TDs and one or fewer interceptions was Billy Volek of the Titans in 2004.
Number: 117 <br><br>Brian Westbrook's 117 yards rushing against the 49ers was the most by any NFL player on eight or fewer carries since Napolean Kaufman of the Raiders was 8 for 122 against the Buccaneers in 1999.
Number: 320 <br><br>Tom Brady's 320 passing yards in Week 3 were the fewest on 55 pass attempts in three years, since Kerry Collins of the Giants was 35-for-59 for 314 yards against Brady and the Patriots in 2003.
Number: 40 <br><br>Ravens receiver Derrick Mason was 7 for 132 receiving against the Browns on Sunday, his seventh consecutive 100-yard game in which he did not have a 40-yard catch. Mason has 232 receptions for 2,823 yards since his last 40-yard reception -- a 46-yarder against the Dolphins in 2003.
Number: 89 <br><br>Redskins quarterback Mark Brunell completed 89 percent of his passes against the Texans (24 for 27). The last quarterback to throw 27 or more passes and have a higher completion percentage than Brunell was Rich Gannon of the Raiders, who was 34 for 38 (90 percent) against the Broncos in 2002.
Number: 74 <br><br>Clinton Portis' 74-yard catch and run from Mark Brunell against the Texans matched the longest reception by a running back since Warrick Dunn's 86-yarder from Doug Johnson against the Saints in 2003. LaDainian Tomlinson had a 74-yarder against the Colts in 2004.
Number: 150 <br><br>This is the first time in 18 years that nobody has rushed for more than 150 yards in a game in the first three weeks of the season. Willis McGahee of Buffalo came a yard short in last week's loss to the Jets. In 1988, nobody rushed for 150 yards until Week 5, when Freeman McNeil ran for 154 against the Chiefs.
Number: 162<br><br>This is the first time in 10 years that nobody has had more than 161 receiving yards in a game in the first three weeks of the season. Joey Galloway had exactly 161 in a Sept. 17 game against the Falcons. In 1996, nobody had 162 yards in a game until Week 4, when Johnnie Morton had 174 against the Bears.
