90 ... Warrick Dunn's 90-yard touchdown run in the Falcons' loss to the Giants was the longest TD run by a player on a losing team in 12 years, since Herschel Walker's 91-yarder for the Eagles in a 28-21 loss to the Falcons in 1994. There have only been four longer TD runs in losses in NFL history -- Tony Dorsett's 99-yarder in a 31-27 Dallas loss to the Vikings in 1983, Bob Gage's 97-yarder in a 30-21 Steelers loss to the Bears in 1949, O.J. Simpson's 94-yarder in a 38-21 Bills loss to the Steelers in 1972 and Kenny Washington's 92-yarder for the Rams in a 17-10 loss to the Chicago Cardinals in 1947.

138 ... From Week 10 of the 2002 season through Week 2 of the 2006 season -- a span of 56 games -- the Lions didn't have anybody with 138 or more receiving yards in a game. From Sept. 24 through Oct. 15, Roy Williams (far left) had 138 or more receiving yards three times in 22 days. The last player with three games of 138 or more yards in a four-game span was Torry Holt (center) of the Rams, with consecutive games of 161, 67, 174 and 200 yards. Williams is the first NFL player with three games with seven or more catches for 138 or more yards in a four-game span since Randy Moss (right) had three in a row for the Vikings in 2001.

7 ... Matt Leinart became the first quarterback to start on Monday Night Football as a rookie in seven years, since Shaun King of the Buccaneers started against the Vikings on Dec. 6, 1999.

72 ... The Broncos, anchored by the likes of cornerback Champ Bailey (left), are the first NFL team in 72 years to allow one or fewer touchdowns after five games. The last team to accomplish that was the 1934 Detroit Lions, who opened the season with seven consecutive shutouts before beating the Pittsburgh Pirates 40-7 at Titan Stadium on Nov. 4 of that year. The Lions' shutout streak ended when Joe Skladany caught a 62-yard pass from Harp Vaughn in the first quarter.

185 ... Tiki Barber's 185 rushing yards against the Falcons gave him more games with 185 or more rushing yards since Oct. 1, 2005 (four) than everybody else in the NFL combined during the same span (three). The 185 yards are the most by a player his age or older (31 years, 7 months, 8 days) in 16 years, since James Brooks of the Bengals rushed for 201 yards against the Oilers in 1990 at the age of 31 years, 11 months, 25 days.

0-4 ... Rex Grossman of the Bears was the winning quarterback against the Cards despite throwing no touchdowns and four interceptions. That made him the first quarterback in seven years to throw four or more interceptions and no TDs and still be a winning quarterback. The last to do it was Erik Kramer of the Chargers, who had four interceptions and no touchdowns in a 13-10 win over Seattle in 1999.

189 ... Since Week 7 of the last year, Steve Smith of the Panthers has as many receiving performances of 189 or more yards (two) as everybody else in the NFL combined. Smith had 201 yards against the Vikings last Oct. 30 and 189 yards against the Ravens on Sunday. The only other players to reach 189 yards in a game during that span are Chad Johnson (189 vs. the Colts last Nov. 20) and Chris Chambers of the Dolphins (238 vs. the Bills last Dec. 4). Smith, Johnson and Chambers were all 2001 draft picks, though none was drafted in the first round.

90 ... Travis Henry and Tiki Barber both rushed for 178 or more yards on Sunday without benefit of a single run longer than 29 yards. It's the first time two backs have rushed for 178 or more yards on the same day without either one recording a single 30-yard run since Sept. 18, 1994, when Barry Sanders of the Lions had 194 rushing with a long gain of 28 yards and Barry Foster of the Steelers had 179 yards with a long gain of 29 yards.

36 ... Cards running back Edgerrin James carried 36 times for 55 yards against the Bears Monday night, not only by far the fewest yards in NFL history on 36 carries, but also the fewest carries in NFL history on more than 30 carries. The previous record for fewest yards on 36 carries was 105 by Ricky Williams, who was 36-for-105 twice -- against the Patriots in 2002 and the Ravens in 2003. The previous record for fewest yards on more than 30 carries was 66, when Walter Payton was 31-for-66 against the Packers in 1980.

299 ... Arizona receiver Anquan Boldin's 12 catches against the Bears gave him 299 receptions in 46 career games. He needs one reception in his next seven games to become the fastest player in NFL history to reach 300 catches. Denver's Lionel Taylor caught 300 passes in his first 54 games.
