NFL Week 11
Bears 10, Jets 0
Chicago running back Thomas Jones rushed for a season-high 121 yards on 23 carries, his third 100-yard performance in his last four games. With a win the previous week over the Giants, the Bears now have as many wins (2) at Giants Stadium as the Jets this season.
Patriots 35, Packers 0
Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre missed the second half with an elbow injury, but could have returned if the game had been close. The Packers were down 21-0 when he left.
Chargers 35, Broncos 27
San Diego running back LaDainian Tomlinson reached 100 touchdowns faster than any other player in NFL history after scoring four times against Denver on Sunday night. Tomlinson has 102 touchdowns in his career, with 22 in 10 games this season.
Ravens 24, Falcons 10
Michael Vick was sacked five times for 45 yards in losses and completed only 11 of 27 passes for 127 yards as Atlanta lost its third in a row against the over-powering Ravens.
Cowboys 21, Colts 14
Peyton Manning threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns, but the Cowboys' defense took control by forcing three turnovers, handing the Colts their first loss of the season.
Dolphins 24, Vikings 20
Miami quarterback Joey Harrington had 254 yards in his first career win against Minnesota, ending a six-game losing streak that dates to his days with Detroit. Former Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper missed his sixth consecutive game with a knee injury.
Bengals 31, Saints 16
With 190 yards receiving -- and three touchdowns -- against New Orleans, Cincy wideout Chad Johnson broke the all-time record for receiving yards in back-to-back games with 450.
Chiefs 17, Raiders 13
Kansas City running back Larry Johnson ran for 154 yards and two touchdowns against the Raiders on his 27th birthday Sunday. Johnson's devastating ground-attack helped quarterback Trent Green win in his return, 10 weeks to the day after the concussion he took against Cincinnati.
Bills 24, Texans 21
With 6:35 remaining in the first quarter, Buffalo wideout Lee Evans caught his second 83-yard touchdown pass from J.P. Losman. Evans caught 11 passes for 265 yards, breaking the franchise single-game receiving record of 255 yards by Jerry Butler in 1979.
Buccaneers 20, Redskins 17
Tampa Bay running back Carnell "Cadillac" Williams rushed for a season-high 122 yards to help spoil the debut of Redskins quarterback and former Auburn teammate Jason Campbell.
Cardinals 17, Lions 10
Arizona quarterback Matt Leinart threw and ran for a touchdown to get first NFL victory. The win also snapped an eight-game losing streak for the Cardinals, who hadn't won since their season opener against San Francisco.
Panthers 15, Rams 0
Carolina wideout Steve Smith caught a pass that resulted in a 62-yard touchdown in the second quarter against St. Louis. Smith leads the league in receiving yards per game with 108.8, more than 15 yards higher than Cincinnati's Chad Johnson.
49ers 20, Seahawks 14
Niners' running back Frank Gore rushed for a career-high 212 yards against Seattle, while reigning league MVP Shaun Alexander, who returned after missing two months with a broken foot, ran for 37 yards on 17 carries.
Steelers 24, Browns 20
Having thrown for just 48 yards with three interceptions in the first three quarters, Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger rallied his team in the fourth, throwing for 224 yards and two touchdowns.
Titans 31, Eagles 13
Donovan McNabb grabbed his right knee and fell to the ground after a seemingly harmless bump out of bounds by Tennessee's Kyle Vanden Bosch. McNabb will miss the rest of the year with a torn knee ligament as the Eagles will finish out a season for the third time in five years without their star quarterback.
