17 ... LaDainian Tomlinson and the Chargers beat the Broncos 35-27 after trailing 24-7 in the third quarter. A week earlier, they beat the Bengals 49-41 after trailing 28-7 in the third quarter. That makes them the first team in NFL history to win consecutive games after trailing by 17 or more points in both games.

908 ... Drew Brees passed for 510 yards against the Bengals a week after throwing for 398 yards against the Steelers. His 908 yards are the third-most in NFL history in consecutive games behind only Phil Simms' 945 yards against the Cowboys (432) and Bengals (513) in 1985, and Billy Volek's 918 against the Chiefs (426) and Raiders (492) in 2004.

450 ... Bengals receiver Chad Johnson followed his 260-yard performance against the Chargers with 190 receiving yards against the Saints. His 450 total yards is the most in NFL history in a two-game span. The previous record for most yards in two games was 448 by John Taylor of the 49ers, who had 162 yards against the Falcons on Dec. 3, 1989, and 286 eight days later against the Rams.

189 ... Eagles quarterback Jeff Garcia threw 48 passes Sunday but passed for only 189 yards, the fewest yards on 48 or more attempts in eight years, since Kerry Collins of the Panthers threw 53 passes for 188 yards against the Packers on Sept. 27, 1998. The Eagles' 267 total passing yards against the Titans are the fewest by a team on 61 or more pass attempts since Chris Weinke, also of the Panthers, had 223 passing yards on 63 attempts against Arizona on Dec. 30, 2001.

83 ... Bills receiver Lee Evans became the first player in NFL history with two receptions of 80 or more yards in the same quarter when he caught two 83-yard touchdowns from J.P. Losman in the first quarter of the Bills' win over the Texans. The only other player with two 80-yard TDs in the same game was John Taylor of the 49ers, who caught TD passes of 92 yards in the second quarter and 96 yards in the fourth quarter from Joe Montana in the 49ers' 30-27 win over the Rams on Dec. 11, 1989.

88.4 ... Tom Brady's four-touchdown, no-interception performance against the Packers boosted his career passer rating from 87.8 to 88.4 and moved him past Trent Green (88.1) and into seventh place in NFL history.

212 ... Frank Gore became the first player in 12 years and only the fourth in NFL history to rush for 212 or more yards without scoring a touchdown. The last to do it was Barry Sanders of the Lions was 26-for-237 against the Buccaneers without a TD on Nov. 13, 1994. The only other players in NFL history with 212 or more rushing yards in a game and no TDs are Thurman Thomas (214 yards in 1990 vs. the Jets) and Tom Wilson of the Rams (223 yards in 1956 against the Packers).

22 ... David Carr tied the NFL single-game record of 22 consecutive completions in the Texans' 24-21 loss to the Bills. The record was set by Redskins quarterback Mark Brunell earlier this year against the Texans in the same stadium.

510 ... Brees's 510 yards against the Bengals, including a 72-yard scoring pass to Joe Horn, are the most on 52 or fewer pass attempts in 15 years, since Warren Moon threw for 527 yards on 45 attempts against the Chiefs. The Bengals are the only NFL team to have two quarterbacks pass for 510 yards or more against them, and they're 2-0 in those games. The last QB to lose when passing for 510 or more yards was Dan Marino on Oct. 23, 1988, when he passed for 521 yards in a 44-30 loss to the Jets.
