NFL Rookie Watch
Jay Cutler
Last Week: unranked

In the first of what could be many matchups against fellow rookie Matt Leinart, Cutler outplayed the Heisman-winning QB out of USC. Cutler finished with two TDs, 261 yards passing and one interception while Leinart had no TDs, 214 yards, two interceptions and three sacks.
Mark Anderson
Last Week: 8

Anderson didn't improve on his Bears rookie record of 10 sacks in last weekend's game against Tampa Bay. In fact, he didn't have a single tackle. But with Tommie Harris out for the season with an injury and Tank Johnson suspended for one game, the Bears are counting on Anderson.
Joseph Addai
Last Week: 7

Addai went a third consecutive game without scoring a TD and suffered an ankle sprain when tackled at the end of a 41-yard run. He hopes to get the green light to play in his hometown of Houston this week.
Reggie Bush
Last Week: 5

Bush had a combined 33 yards receiving and rushing, his third-lowest total of the year as the Saints were held to a season-low 10 points in a loss to Washington.
Marques Colston
Last Week: 10

The surprising standout receiver from Hofstra went over the 1,000-yard mark in receiving yards last week when he made a six-yard grab in the fourth quarter.
Marcus McNeill
Last Week: 6

The talented rookie left tackle out of Auburn may have been snubbed by the Pro Bowl, but there are a growing number of experts who think McNeill should be the Offensive Rookie of the Year. He deserves a lot of credit for LaDainian Tomlinson's incredible season.
Devin Hester
Last Week: 2

He received some good news this week when he learned that the was the only rookie selected to the Pro Bowl. That'll probably help Hester forget his lackluster effort against Tampa Bay last weekend, in which he fumbled three times and lost one that led to a Bucs touchdown.
DeMeco Ryans
Last Week: 3

With 10 tackles in last week's game against the Patriots, the Texans linebacker ran his season total to 137, second-best in the league and only five behind Miami's Zach Thomas.
Maurice Jones-Drew
Last Week: 4

He carried 25 times for 98 yards (one TD) and made three receptions for 47 yards before leaving the Tennessee game in the fourth quarter with a jammed knee. That sigh of relief you heard mid-week was from Jacksonville coach Jack Del Rio and fantasy team owners everywhere when they learned that Jones-Drew would be available this weekend.
Vince Young
Last Week: 1

After sitting out the end of Friday's practice with an ice pack on his right elbow, Young only completed eight of 15 passes against Jacksonville and ran only four times for four yards. Still, his Titans have won their fifth in a row, which has to count for something.
