Madelyn Burke: WWE superstar Aleister Black has been a bright spot as one of pro-wrestling entertainment performers. Our own Justin Barrasso has a feature on the master of the Black Mass and he joins me now. Justin, Aleister, of course, a quiet, calm character. But what would you say makes him so appealing to fans?

Justin Barrasso: He's himself in a world where wrestling it feels oftentimes it doesn't it feels manufactured. He's very organic. He he talks like if you watched him on the independents before as Tommy End. He's he's very similar to that character. And it doesn't feel like even though Aleister Black is certainly a WWE character, it doesn't feel like he's portraying a character. It feels like he's himself. Just everything about him. Right. The tattoos, the look, the mixed martial arts background, the martial arts background, everything about Aleister Black is is is him. Is is Tommy End. So I think that that adds a lot to his character and a lot of his appeal.

Madelyn Burke: You mentioned that mixed martial arts background. He's one of the best strikers in the company today. How much would you say that MMA has influenced his style of wrestling?

Justin Barrasso: Oh, very much. He's definitely a product of that era of fighting. And it shows in his work, too. And the great thing, too, is it looks realistic. In wrestling guys shouldn't be getting hurt and they shouldn't be getting concussed. His stuff looks snug. It looks realistic. But at the same point, too, it fits in quite well to the show.

Madelyn Burke: Where is his ceiling? Would you say that he had all the skill set to be a future world champion?

Justin Barrasso: You know, it's funny. He doesn't have the WWE look. There's C.M. Punk and he was covered in tattoos. But there's something distinct and unique about Aleister Black that I don't think WWE has ever had in the main event picture. I don't think there is a ceiling. I think he should be a guy who, even though he fought it this year or so many and beat Bobby Lashley, he's never really had that breakout moment yet. Whether or not he wins Money in the Bank on Sunday. To me, is irregardless, I think he's just got such a bright future in WWE. And by the time we get to WrestleMania, thirty seven. Thirty eight thirty nine Aleister Black should play a big role in all those.
