No. 13 Iowa State beat Texas in the Big 12 tournament quarterfinals on Thursday on a buzzer-beater by sophomore guard Monte Morris.

Down 67-57 with just under four minutes remaining, the Cyclones went on a 12-0 run to end the game, which was capped by Morris' game-winner.

ISU was set up with the opportunity after the Longhorns' Isaiah Taylor missed a jumper and Javan Felix missed a three-pointer. Iowa State's Dustin Hogue grabbed the rebound with 10 seconds remaining and the game tied at 67. 

Morris led all scorers with 24 points, including seven in the final four minutes. The sophomore is averaging 11.5 points and 5.4 assists this season.

Iowa State will face either Oklahoma or Oklahoma State in the Big 12 semifinals on Friday.
