Watch: Baylor F Rico Gathers’s first career three is a buzzer beater

Baylor senior forward Rcio Gathers knocked down his first career three-point attempt against Kansas on Tuesday, draining a shot just before the end of the first half.
With 1.9 seconds remaining on the clock, Ishmail Wainright launched an inbound pass the full length of the court, connecting Gathers in the corner. After catching the ball with his back turned to the basket, Gathers turned, hitting nothing but net on the fall-away shot.
The shot gave Baylor (20–7) and 36–33 lead over Kansas (23–4) going into the half. The Jayhawks ultimately won, 66–60.
