Turner Sports reporter Craig Sager made an appearance on Inside March Madness after the Final Four on Saturday and interviewed Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim.

Boeheim deflected the interview to share his support and words of admiration for Sager, who is fighting a battle with leukemia.

Sager worked two NBA games for TNT last week after revealing that his leukemia was no longer in remission. He said in a statement last Wednesday that someone in his position who was not receiving treatment would have just 3–6 months to live.

The 64-year-old has been working this season after undergoing a bone marrow transplant in July. He was initially diagnosed with leukemia in April 2014, and the disease returned in March 2015.
