Memphis vs. UCLA

The UCLA Bruins host the Memphis Tigers in Week 2 of the College Football season. The Bruins held off the Virginia Cavaliers in their opener, 28-20, while Memphis shut out Austin Peay, 63-0.

The Bruins, who are currently No. 11 in the AP Top 25, have played as a ranked team for 20 straight games.

In the first outing of the year for the Bruins last week, quarterback and Heisman hopeful Brett Hundley went 20-of-33 for 242 yards. He also picked up a rushing touchdown.

UCLA has won 8 of its last 9 non-conference match-ups, the only loss coming to Baylor in 2012.

The Bruins are looking for their fourth straight win in a home opener.

UCLA is 10-3 under coach Jim Mora in games played in the Rose Bowl.

Memphis Facts

The Tigers have never played UCLA. Saturday will be the schools' first meeting. 

Memphis started the season with a win for the first time since 2004.

The 63-0 win over Austin Peay, was the Tigers first shutout since 2000.

Quarterback Paxton Lynch threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 1 win.

Rookie running back Jarvis Cooper rushed for 101 yards in his first collegiate game. All of those yards came in the fourth quarter.
