Louisville freshman receiver Traveon Samuel scored on a blistering 100-yard kick return in the fourth quarter of Thursday night's game against Clemson and cut the Tigers' lead to 3 with under 10 minutes remaining.

After Clemson converted a field goal to make its lead 20-10, Samuel caught the ensuing kickoff at his own goal line and raced down the right sideline nearly untouched for the score. It was the first return touchdown in Samuel's brief career.

The return wasn't enough to rally the Cardinals, who missed a crucial field late in the fourth and ultimately lost 20-17.
