Wake Forest defeated Army 17–14 Saturday on a 47-yard field goal as time expired, but the attempt almost ended in disaster.
The Demon Deacons improved to 2–1 on the year with the win, and will look to build some momentum when they host Indiana on Sept. 26.
Kendall Hinton completed 27 passes for 159 yards, and added 101 on the ground, to help Wake Forest.
Wake Forest beats Army 17-14 as time expires. One of the best clutch jobs you'll see by a holder. Saved the day.— Pete Thamel (@SIPeteThamel) September 19, 2015
