The Memphis Tigers look to extend their winning streak as they host the Cincinnati Bearcats at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium on Thursday night.

Memphis improved to 3–0 with their narrow 44–41 victory over Bowling Green on the road. Memphis racked up 541 yards of offense as quarterback Paxton Lynch completed 29 of 40 passes for 386 yards and three touchdowns. Receiver Tevin Jones caught three passes for 98 yards and a touchdown.

After entering as a heavy favorite, Cincinnati found itself in a tight game as the Bearcats just edged out Miami (OH) 37–33. The quarterback tandem of Hayden Moore and Gunner Kiel combined 22-for-40 with 263 yards on the day. Kiel threw for one touchdown and left the game with a head injury after banging his head on the turf. Receiver Mekale McKay did not suit up for the game against Miami but could return against Memphis.
