Watch: Georgia Tech upsets Florida State on blocked field goal return
Sunday October 25th, 2015

Georgia Tech upset No. 9 Florida State as time expired by returning a blocked field goal 78 yards for a touchdown.

After the Yellow Jackets blocked the 56-yard kick attempt from Seminoles kicker Roberto Aguayo, sophomore defensive back Lance Austin recovered the miss and took off for the endzone. With timely blocking from his teammates, Austin burst downfield past defenders and reached the end zone to clinch a 22–16 win.

The loss was Florida State‘s first ACC loss since Oct. 6, 2012. It also ended a 31-game regular season winning streak.

Aguayo had never before missed a kick in the fourth quarter in his college career.
