Penn State takes on Indiana in a pivotal road game for the Nittany Lions as they try to keep pace in the Big Ten East.

Penn State will need some help reaching the conference title game having already lost to division leader Michigan.

The Lions are coming off an impressive 41-14 rout of Iowa. Saquon Barkley accounted for 211 all-purpose yards and scored two touchdowns in the victory.

Devine Redding ran for a score in the third quarter and Richard Lagow threw three touchdown passes to help the Hoosiers beat Rutgers 33–27 last week, despite turning the ball over four times.

Penn State is ranked 12th in this week's AP Poll, their highest ranking since the 2011 season.

The Nittany Lions have won 18 of the 19 all-time meetings with Indiana, including a 29–7 home victory last season.
