Michigan falls to No. 5 in latest College Football Playoff rankings
Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson and Washington topped the latest College Football Playoff rankings after Week 13.
The Crimson Tide remain on top as they defeated Auburn 30–12 in the Iron Bowl last Saturday.
Ohio State won The Game last Saturday, narrowly escaping Michigan 30–27 in double overtime. The Wolverines fell to No. 5.
Clemson trounced South Carolina 56–7 at Memorial Stadium.
Washington entered the top four after a 45–17 win over Washington State and will play Colorado in the Pac-12 championship game on Friday.
Dec. 4 is the playoff committee's selection day, as the semifinal teams will be announced following Friday and Saturday's conference championship games (including Oklahoma-Oklahoma State, which serves as a de facto Big 12 title game).
