Two Minor League Baseball Teams Will Wear Police And Firefighter-Inspired Uniforms

Time for little boys everywhere to get excited. The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs and Pawtucket Red Sox will honor local police and fire departments with a Heroes Night, which will feature the teams wearing jerseys inspired by police and firefighter uniforms.
The night will open with a softball game between police officers and firefighters, and will also include a text-message based live auction for the jerseys throughout the game.
As a sign of respect for those who serve and protect, I will refrain from making jokes about a team called the pigs wearing police uniforms.
