Rasheed Wallace spent last season as an assistant with the Detroit Pistons, but wasn't rehired when Stan Van Gundy took over as head coach. So for the first time in a long time, 'Sheed has an awful lot of free time on his hands.

Andrew Keh of The New York Times asked Wallace's former teammate Kevin Garnett if he knew what 'Sheed was doing these days.

"I talked to Sheed the other day," Garnett said. "He was at home, on the couch, being fat."

That doesn't sound like a bad way to spend retirement. And even if he is getting fat, he could probably hop off that couch and hit a corner three whenever he wanted to.
